Dr. Yan Katsnelson
The founder of USA Vein Clinics, which has offices in Boston, New York and Los Angeles as well as Chicago, Dr. Yan Katsnelson has long been considered one of Chicago’s leading vein doctors. Dr. Katsnelson completed his medical training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston before honing his expertise in cardiac surgery while serving as attending cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at the University of Chicago.
Along with being an expert in vein treatment procedures Yan Katznelson has completed an extensive body of research in the fields of minimally invasive aortic and mitral valve surgery, complex aortic operations, reoperative coronary and valve surgery, and off-pump bypass surgery. He is also the founder of the Chicago Heart Institute.
Di Fan, M.D
Dr. Di Fan was born in China and as a surgeon had more than 20 years experience in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. He performed thousands of operations in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, as well as innovative minimally invasive Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures.
He completed his fellowship training in pediatric cardiovascular surgery in Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. In addition to English, he is fluent Chinese speaker.
Brian Murray, M.D.
Dr. Brian Murray, a University of North Carolina Graduate who completed his internship in general surgery at St. Lukes Roosevelt, a Columbia University Medical Center Hospital. He then continued his general surgery residency at a Mount Sinai affiliate hospital. He then went on to complete his fellowship at Yale School of Medicine is both an author and a coauthor on numerous medical publications.
He has performed numerous endovascular procedures and received extensive training in diagnostic ultrasound.
